Just me and my boy!

Good Saturday to all~ Today its just me and Caleb,my 5 year old superman son.My husband is at work. My 15 yr old is working with his grandfather.And my girls are helping their grandma at the church kitchen,preparing food for tomorrow. I thought that was lovely that the girls volunteered. My 13 yr old likes to bake cookies.And my 10 yr old is always more eager to help with any cooking.When she sees me cooking dinner,she most often asks if she can help with anything.I can see that she takes pride in helping me.She really likes a picture I have of her standing up on a chair cooking an egg at 4 yrs old :).She likes to show off that picture. My 13 yr old likes to bake and she prefers to do it alone,however they never let her do it alone,so she needs to work on learning how to work with others. I always tell her,she needs to be patient and more tolerable. And dont we all?hello? :)
Okay so in the morning ,after everyone left,I cheerfully told my 5 yr old,"hey buddy it"s just you and me today!" and he replies with "I"m going to beat you up!" Can you tell what he likes to play with  our 15 yr old son. BOYs will be boys! He made himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich .I like my kids' independence. Thats how my mom raised us. Not to be imbecils. Sounds harsh but it's really not.
So I got up and brewed some coffee,made some eggs for me and Caleb,accompanied them with toast and some orange juice.
I let him play on the computer for a little bit,on pbskids.org,then i send him off to play outside.He is now back inside. He is  so smart and cute. Yesterday when I picked him up afterschool,he had a flower for me and put it in my hair and said  he wanted me to be his sweetheart~
Monday is my 13 yr old's birthday..and today about 9 cousins are coming over,so my husband suggested maybe we should go ahead and celebrate her birthday today.However I'm not sure about that,I will ask her if thats something she would like,she will be 14 and her cousins are all boys under 10,,lol yeah I can already see the look on her face.I was thinking a nice dinner just us at home as it usually is.Either a store bought cake or homemade and I like to have everyone write out what we love about her,and its according to how old they are.LIke she will be 14  so we jot down 14 things, and or her name and we write a word that describes her for each letter. And we also have a game where we have 1 minute to write as many names that start with the person's first name letter. And gifts. My mom and sisters are really good about remembering all of my kids' birthdays,and they come to the house without me having to ask them to come.
Well i have some closet work and laundry to deal with.
