Hello.I am sitting here in the living room,with a yummy cup of coffee w/some amaretto coffee creamer.My daughter and sis in law are watching "Pride and Prejudice",which by the way,I love that movie,and now I know why...Lizzie bluntness and fearless attitude reminds me of me,and Mr.Darcy reminds me of my husband's serious character,which is what attracted me most about him.I love him so much.
I cleaned,rearranged stuff and threw out some more,for about two days.i am convinced laundry is a monster indeed.lol You see Saturday we invited two families from church and to make room in our cozy home,I had to do some rearranging.In previous posts ,I have already mentioned,that in the future,which we wish was here already,we plan to build astaircaseto the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom,the bedrooms are not completed or the bathroom,but we cant proceed with out the architect plans ,much less the permits,so we have been waiting for MONTHS,and we have been praying about this,for some unknown reason the architect keeps postponing our meeting,but we are more than ready,however God knows all things and we have to be patient regardless.
And so while we wait,we bought our girls beds,and we are using the dining room as their temporary bedroom,and we put the dining room table in the living room,but in order to make room for that,we first gave away our coffee table,and huge entertainment center,and we did throw away a lazy boy chair(too wobbly already),and constantly cleaning out,trying to be diligent about what we really want to keep and bring in...I went through our collection of books and movies,gave a lot of that away,mostly to my sister in law,mom to 6.
Saturday we had a really nice time with both couples,interesting conversations,kids mostly played in pool,we had cheeseburgers,fries,watermelon,veggies ,chips and dip,ice cream,coffee,then Sunday we went to both church services,and in between services,we stopped by my mom's house for a short visit,half rested at home,then off to the evening service.
Monday was Fourth of July ,as we all know,we were at home most of the day .My husband is building a tool shed,so he worked outside most of the morning and afternoon.My in laws and other family members ate breakfast here at my house ,so as soon as they left,i cleaned up the house ,washed a couple of loads,and then left around 7ish to my mom's house,where most of my family was gathered,except for my brother who live sin Georgia,and another one who is in jail~
We were the only Christians there,it's a little odd to watch them ,because of how different we are now as Christians,and how different they are from us.with very little convictions and discernment.After the wonderful fireworks display,my wonderful husband and I were able to come home and thank God,that we came to know God and are Christians.There is no other way to truly live,until you come to the Lord,and live for Him,and according to His statutes..
And today,my hubby went back to work,my 14 yr old son went to work with his grandpa.I got up @6:20,packed Robert's lunch,and snacks,then prayed and read some scriptures in the 58th chapter of Isaiah,where it talks about rebuilding ancient ruins.i absolutely love what that implies.God has saved me and my family and he has begun to rebuild the ancient ruins in my family,beginning with me..I must pray and and be strong in the Lord,to not get tired of praying for my family and future generations.Prayer is power,Prayer changes things.God is good,He can't turn us away ,when we humble ourselves before Him.One thing I encourage you who read here,is to ask God to put a burning desire in our hearts to be pure ,out of love for God,not just because it is the right thing to do,but because we love Him so much,that we desire to please Him,not caring to go against the current of this world.Not being popular....
Afterwards,I didn't plan on this,but I went back to bed,and slept for about an hour and a half,and I felt rested.Then it was time to get up and get going for what was planned for today.I picked up my sis in law and her 6 children,and we stopped at Fiesta Mart.I left the van air on,with my sis in law and kids,while I quickly grabbed some food items,and came out to a hot van,battery ran out,and so we asked for help,and this nice lady gave us a jumptart.We struggled a little ,because her battery was sideways ,so we could quite get to he positive knob thingy,and two kind men came to help us,and we were good.One didn't ask us for anything in return,but the other did.We only had 75 cents,but he was happy with that..hehe,so we finally came home,and kids changed and jumped into pool.i came in and made a large batch of buttermilk pancakes,sausage links,and my sis in law made scrambled eggs.I brewed some yummy coffee.We cooked ,served it,ate it.Kids are back in pool,some are playing on grass with toys,and some ,well 2 females,a 13 yr old and 32 yr old are watching Pride and Prejudice..sigh,did i mention how much I love that movie,favorite so far...
And inless than one hour ,we are heading off to the zoo!Yup you read correctly.On the 1 st Tuesday of each month,after 2p.m.,the zoo admission is free! so that seems great for a large crowd,wouldn't you say!
And ,tomorrow ,we do not know,we have no plans,but i do know that this child,my 13 yr old needs to go to the library,so maybe God willing that will happen tomorrow.on thursday,my sister in law is coming over,so we planned....
